Both Downloads and Links first let you add a
Category. For example a Category might be a group of websites or PDF documents about a particular topic. You can have as many Categories as required and add a Description of each Category.
Related to a Download Category is:
- Downloads: click the Browse button to locate the document on your computer and upload to the website.
- You can add a Caption and Description for each document.
- It is useful to let the user know the format and size of the document. In the Description you could include something like: format: PDF, size: 500kb.
- Try and avoid uploading documents large than 1mb.
- On the bottom left of your browser there is a Status bar. This shows the status of uploading your document to the website.
- Add as many Downloads to a Category as required.
Related to a Links Category is:
- Links: enter (copy and paste) the actual website you would like to link to (without 'http://'). This will open the website in a new window.
- You can add a Caption and Description for each Link.
- Add as many Links to a Category as required.
